I rarely take a day off from exercising, unless I get injured. Yesterday was my TRUE REST day, I mean, really no exercise, not even yoga, because I got injured and it was too painful to move my body. Knowing this, I got a little bit panic. So I decided to fill up my night with home cooking. And it turned out, that was a crazy home cooking night, I just stood in the kitchen for less than 2 hours, but I prepared way too much food! Some recipes are really good, so I decided to write it down.
- Mozzarella, Basil & Zucchini Frittata from https://www.eatingwell.com/recipe/251004/mozzarella-basil-zucchini-frittata/
- Salmon with Curried Yogurt & Cucumber Salad from https://www.eatingwell.com/recipe/274116/salmon-with-curried-yogurt-cucumber-salad/
- 鶏もも肉のハニーマスタード焼き from kurashiru
- 牛肉と蒟蒻のしぐれ煮 from pecco_gohan
It turned out the most popular is salmon mushroom Japanese style seasoning ravioli, frittata and the pumpkin salad. I added extra smoked salmon and both sun-dried and fresh tomatoes into the frittata to make the taste richer. Pumpkin always goes so well with cream cheese, and the onion inside added some freshness. Japanese めんつゆ and milk (better with cream) and butter create a unique and smooth combination.
I felt so good after the cooking, and I got to try everything a small bite. Of course we had a lot of leftover, but I haven’t cooked like this for a long time! Wonderful challenge, yummy food!
